Ever tried typing “Michael Fassbender” into Google?  One of the top results is a flat share in Hackney that just happens to be around the corner from the actor’s London home.  We imagine it let quite quickly.  If the Macbeth thespian isn’t your type, don’t worry.  Here’s our round-up of the popular celebrity moves in London this month.

Not bad for student digs

We always knew that the members of Pink Floyd were atypically middleclass for rock stars but their choice of student digs proves it.  Roger Waters, Nick Mason, Syd Barrett and Rick Wright shared a house in Stanhope Gardens, Highgate when they were students in the Sixties.  They were living there when they signed their first record deal with EMI.  The six bedroom home is now for sale for £3 million and features a large garden and roof terrace.  We have a 4 bedroom house available to rent nearby in Highgate for £795 per week.

Britain’s most desirable neighbour?
