March Celebrity Moves

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Spring is in the air.  With flowers in bloom and the days getting longer, it’s time to think about moving… which is just what our favourite celebrities are doing these days.  Benham & Reeves Estate Agents brings you a round- up of which notable people are making the move in and around London.  If you want a new home near one of your favourite stars, just click on the link to find out more.

Kew Bridge Road, TW8

Like a rolling stone

Rolling Stones guitarists Ronnie Wood and Keith Richards both lived in Wick Cottage in Richmond during the 1970s. If walls could talk, Wick Cottage’s would certainly have something to say! The five bedroom, Grade II listed coach house is now on the market for £3.65m so if you’re a party animal with deep pockets, it might be the place for you.  If you’re after somewhere a little more affordable, Benham & Reeves Lettings has this offering.

Songbird wants to fly

As we reported recently, another 70s rock star is on the move.  Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac has put her Kent mansion on the market as she found the countryside just too boring.  Seems potential buyers are feeling the same as she has had to drop the price from £3.5 million to £2.5 million.  Christine, once you manage to sell your home, we’ve got some great properties in the heart of London that are anything but boring.  How about this property?

Whitehall’s not in Westminster

Our favourite comedian, Jack Whitehall, is on the move.  Unsurprisingly, the star of Fresh Meat doesn’t live in shared student digs but in a smart flat in Notting Hill. He and his girlfriend Gemma Chan are now looking to trade up in the area to something bigger.  Not a problem.  We can help.  This three bedroom apartment in the area would be just the ticket.

Goodbye Yello Brick Road

Rumours are swirling about Sir Elton John as he continues to downsize his retinue.   Whether it’s really down to him or his partner David Furnish is all down to which tabloid you choose to read.  All we know is that his former penthouse in Chelsea is up for sale for £4.3 million, what must be one of the least expensive properties the singer songwriter has ever owned.  Occupying an entire floor of the building, it has three bedrooms.  If your budget doesn’t stretch that far, we’ve got this 3 bed flat to rent in Chelsea.

Being neighbourly

Seems Hollywood actor Jude Law has been recently making the headlines for all the right reasons, highlighting the plight of refugees in Calais. If you’d like to count Jude as your neighbour, we have this beautiful home in Highgate if you’d like to lend him a cup of sugar.
