Some of the best natural viewpoints in North London are to be found in the various neighbourhoods that make up Haringey. Muswell Hill and Highgate both provide magnificent views of the London skyline, while Alexandra Palace has the added attraction of a Grade II listed venue. The streets that connect these three summits are perfect for young families or corporate sharers as they offer a combination of short commutes, green open spaces and eclectic shopping.

Architecturally, the housing stock varies from the neat two-bedroom terraces found in Hornsey to the grand red-brick mansions of ornate Muswell Hill, but there is also a selection of new developments poised to make an impact. The Clarendon is a selection of luxury apartments by Berkeley that is near transport links and also to the parade of Mediterranean restaurants and grocers that line Green Lanes. Finsbury Park and Alexandra Palace provide an array of leisure facilities, including tennis courts, picnic areas and a year-round ice skating rink.

Manor House, Turnpike Lane and Wood Green Tube stations are on the Piccadilly Line, which runs a service to the West End and Heathrow Airport. Hornsey train station provides fast links to the City and St Pancras (Eurostar), while Green Lanes railway station is on the Overground network, which includes Westfield Shopping City, Stratford. All stations, with the exception of Manor House, are in Zone 3.
