Putney is an affluent neighbourhood in Southwest London, known for its parks and scenic river views. From the 400-acre Putney Heath to its picturesque riverfront, the area covers most of the SW15 postcode and parts of other vibrant SW areas.

Situated just across the Thames from Fulham and close to upscale areas like Imperial Wharf, Richmond and Battersea, Putney offers a sense of tranquillity just moments from the city's usual bustle.

The area is highly sought-after by students, professionals and families as it is well-connected to central London and home to many prestigious schools. Nearby Barnes also offers top-tier educational options, adding to the area’s appeal.

Although only five miles from central London, Putney retains a countryside charm with its tree-lined streets, elegant Victorian cottages, and converted Edwardian mansions. Homebuyers have plenty of choices, from spacious three-bedroom apartments near Putney Hill to cosy studios and modern Manhattan-style flats.

Commuters are well-served by the mainline South Western Railway with direct trains to London Waterloo, while East Putney and Putney Bridge stations offer access to the Tube. The area also features several bus routes, including night buses and river buses from Putney Pier to the City of London.

With its expansive green spaces, excellent schools, great transport links, and a lively mix of cafes and riverside pubs, Putney remains in high demand for both buying and renting. Our nearest branch in Hammersmith is just across the river, with an experienced team ready to help you find the best properties in the area.
