Famous for the line that divides the Eastern and Western hemispheres through the Royal Observatory, Greenwich is a remarkable Southeast London neighbourhood with many attractions and green spaces with riverside views. While the Cutty Sark Museum provides a glimpse of revered British maritime history, The O2 is a hotspot for shopping and entertainment on the Greenwich Peninsula surrounded by the Thames.

The 183-acre Greenwich Park, also one of London's eight Royal Parks, ensures locals and tourists have plenty of open green space for leisurely walks. Dotted with attractive Georgian and Victorian buildings, including the Old Royal Naval College and Maritime Greenwich, a World Heritage Site, the town centre is bustling with activity and features the centuries old Greenwich Market.

For connectivity, the area is well-served by the Overground, Underground (Jubilee Line), DLR, several bus routes and riverboat services from Greenwich Pier. For the adventurous, the cable car lifts from Greenwich across the Thames to Royal Docks offering riders spectacular views of the area.

With almost 60% of its residents under 40, Greenwich is a preferred residential area for city workers and students. From stunning waterfront apartments to cosy studios and more, property buyers and investors have a range of options in these sought-after SE postcodes within Greenwich.

If you are planning to buy, sell or let a property in the area, get in touch with our local branch and our property experts, some of whom are locals of the area will be happy to assist you.
