Located to the South of Greenwich, the villages of Blackheath and Kidbrooke have witnessed a massive gentrification push as residents benefit from improved connectivity and development schemes. In addition to the oldest (1433), enclosed Greenwich Royal Park and Common, the area offers plenty of quaint spots for locals to take a moment from the usual bustle of the city.

Renowned for its bakeries and microbreweries around the bustling High Street, Blackheath is also famous for its fun fairs and festivals, celebrated by the local community. Kidbrooke also provides a charming village vibe with traditional semi-detached and detached family houses. Both Blackheath and Kidbrooke are home to attractive Georgian and Victorian houses which are nearly a century old.

Modern housing in the area includes regeneration efforts by leading developers, including Berkeley Group's Kidbrooke Village, which offers stylish apartments. Social housing areas in these Southeast London districts have been transformed into welcoming new neighbourhoods with world-class amenities.

Residents are also well-connected to central London via the Overground and DLR lines through nearby Lewisham Station. Working professionals and Students looking to get to the City can do so in 25 minutes via London Bridge, while business districts such as Canary Wharf and Stratford are less than 20 minutes away.

Whether it's a cosy studio or a spacious family home in a neighbourhood just South of the Thames, Blackheath and Kidbrooke have an array of property options for buyer occupiers and investors alike. Our team of local property experts is just a few minutes away at Woolwich and will be happy to help you with all your property needs. Call us to learn more about properties in the area.
