You might be a property developer selling new units in a development, a private individual looking to sell your own home or a landlord looking to monetise your buy-to-let property. Whatever your reasons for buying or selling, we would be delighted to act as your agent.

At Benham and Reeves, we are used to doing business with people we know, or with people who recommend us. As a result, we are in a unique position of being able to introduce you to some of London’s best investment opportunities. Our extensive experience and strong relationships with UK property developers, investors and home-owners, has afforded us experience working with every type of London property from apartments in new developments to period town houses and modern homes. Each has its own history and benefits, and depending on geographical area, each presents its own rewards.

We hope to get to know you so well that we can introduce you to properties that fulfil every element of your investment objectives. And if you are selling, we can ensure your property is put in front of the right audience. We look forward to speaking with you to discuss how you could soon be investing in something similar.

Meet our sales team

Where do you live? I currently live in Pinner, Middlesex which is an outer suburb of North West London.

What do you like most about the properties in North West London? On the basis of their architectural variety and historical interest alone, my favourite are Hampstead properties which are almost unmatched anywhere in London. The way in which charming period properties have been integrated with newer homes gives the neighbourhood plenty of choice and a great village feel. Close proximity to Hampstead Heath while, at the same time, being only 20 minutes away from the West End is another major plus point.

Tell us a little about your property career? Having been in the North London property business for nearly 35 years, I have had the advantage of working with, and alongside, many talented and respected individuals. My early years as a sales negotiator were spent in Mill Hill until I left to join Benham & Reeves Sales under its former owners. Now with the sales and lettings businesses under one roof and the ownership of Anita Mehra, it’s good to be resuming my Associate Director position and heading up the North London sales team.

What are your passions outside work and how do you relax? Being a passionate West Ham United supporter, I endeavour to attend every home match. I enjoy Bikram hot yoga, overseas travel and working on my (admittedly shaky) golf game. My wife and I love taking long country walks and being surrounded by nature.

Which is your favourite part of London? It has to be Covent Garden, with its unique architecture, history and street entertainment, I really love the buzz and excitement.

Tell us a little about your career Since 1998, I have worked in international property sales and have gained intimate knowledge of various Asian markets, initially with Fraser & Co and then with Colliers International. I have led successful sales teams in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Brunei and Indonesia and have developed solid relationships with tier 1 property developers, investors, consultants and banks in these regions. With 14 years of international exhibitions under my belt, thousands of units sold, I’ve enjoyed introducing so many overseas investors to London property and the benefits of investing in this great city.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself I take my personal fitness very seriously and aim to combine gym workouts with a healthy diet and regular bike-to-work commutes.

Where is your favourite part of London? I was brought up in Islington so would have to choose Angel and surrounding areas such as the City and Shoreditch.

Tell us a little about your career I have been working within the property industry for 15 plus years, covering several sales sectors with specialism in new build sales. Since joining Benham and Reeves as an  investment consultant, I have progressed to sales manager of new homes and resale properties in residential developments, working closely with our international offices and a growing roll of domestic and international investor clients.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself I love to run and have run half marathons and marathons in the past.
What do you like most about the properties in Hampstead? I love period architecture. The richness of history is evident in the Victorian and Georgian properties that you encounter throughout the NW3 postcode. I grew up and still live in the area and so it’s quite refreshing to see some of the modern buildings coming on stream too.

Tell us a little about your property career? I have been an estate agent for approximately 25 years mainly in Hampstead and neighbouring areas working for a few well-known companies at senior level. I’ve been a member of the NAEA (National Association of Estate Agents) for approximately 15 years.

What are your passions outside work and how do you relax? Keeping fit and having a sharp mind is important to me so I play tennis and squash locally and also practice Hot Yoga in Primrose Hill. Seeing family and friends and relaxing with a good book, walks on the Heath, watching sporting events and appreciating good culture is all part of how I wind down.
Where in London do you live? I was born and brought up in, Muswell Hill, North London and continue to live there.

What do you like most about the properties in Dartmouth Park? The tranquil, village-like atmosphere of Dartmouth Park gives it a strong sense of community that I find very attractive. The striking Grade II listed row of Georgian Town Houses on Grove Terrace is a perfect example of how period architecture dominates this small enclave. Victorian and Edwardian homes are well represented, too.

Tell me a little about your property career Soon after leaving university, I began working in property and twenty five years on, I still get the same buzz that first attracted me to the industry. Working for a number of respected estate agents, I covered the St John’s Wood and Hampstead areas and really got a feel for what makes North/West London such a special place. I have had the pleasure of working in the beautiful surroundings of Dartmouth Park since 2013 and have met lots of very nice, friendly homeowners whom I’ve enjoyed helping.

What are your passions outside work and how do you relax? I’ve always had a passion for sport, especially American Football. I played in my younger days and had the honour of representing Great Britain for three years. I still enjoy a 5-a-side soccer match with friends. I have travelled extensively in the past and hope to visit Australia in the near future.
Where do you live? I live in Essex which is close to London.

What do you like most about the properties in Canary Wharf and the area? I really like the gleaming high-rise buildings and the views over the city skyline which are stunning.

Tell me a little about your property career so far and your best skills? I have been an estate agent for several years starting off my property career as a trainee negotiator progressing to assistant manager where I helped manage a team of six. I enjoy all aspects of my work including doing expert valuations, winning new property instructions, working with mortgage brokers, solicitors and everyone else to get properties across the exchange line!

What are your passions outside work and how do you relax? I have a few friends who are professional football players so I enjoy watching matches and eating great food in good restaurants.
What does your role entail? Building good relationships and understanding investment objectives is key to my role whether it be finding a dream family home, a good buy-to-let investment or a first time buyer home. Negotiating the best possible price I can and helping people find the home they want is my priority.

What are your key skills and what do you like most about your role? I’m a good listener which really helps with remembering the all-important details involved with most property transactions. Remaining professional when challenges arise is key and I really enjoy negotiating on behalf of clients to put a smile on their faces.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work? I like to keep active as much as possible whether it be early morning gym sessions or 5 aside football in the evenings. I also like to travel with friends or family.
Where do you live? I live in Winchmore Hill, North London.

What do you like most about the properties in North London? Each property tells a story, especially at High Street level where if you look upwards, you’ll see many period buildings which have retained their historical charm – I never tire of appreciating them. Here the streets are beautifully tree-lined and there is always an abundance of outside space nearby - including Hampstead Heath - which locals like me really appreciate.

Tell us a little about your property career? Ever since my graduate days I have enjoyed working in the London property sector. Over the years, I have gained most of my experience selling residential flats and houses, mainly in prestigious North London locations. I have sold to local families, first-time-buyers, royalty and celebrities and by far the most enjoyable part is recognising that I am handling valuable and cherished assets. I really like to get to know buyers and sellers, making sure they are well looked after throughout the buying or selling process.
Where do you live? I've lived in East London for the last few years.

Tell us something about your career? I worked in finance for four years before joining Benham and Reeves in 2011 where I worked in the short lets department. My background in lettings puts me in a great position to spot a good investment property and I really enjoy working with homeowners and investors, helping them reach their purchase objectives.

And an interesting fact about yourself? I have an Engineering Degree from India and an MBA from Manchester but I love working in property and seeing new buildings go up in London which is exciting. It’s a great place to live and work.
Where do you live? I currently reside in the south east London and have been a resident of this vibrant area for a number of years.

What do you like most about the properties in Canary Wharf? The properties in Canary Wharf are modern and well-maintained and the area is highly organised, creating an ideal environment for living and working. Demand for properties consistently exceeds supply with no end to its popularity and appeal, making it ideal for investment.

Tell me a little about your property career so far and your best skills? With quite a few years' experience working as a property negotiator, complemented by my foundation in marketing and team leadership, I've been proud to conclude many successful outcomes in both lettings and sales. I am genuinely passionate about what I do, making a meaningful impact through my contribution is important to me.

What are your key skills and what do you like most about your role? Working in the property industry for several years now has given me a very good understanding of what peoples’ needs are. I’m a good listener and I can speak a few different languages which comes in very handy when helping our international clients.

Where do you currently live? I am originally from St Albans and still live in my home county of Hertfordshire which, despite being located on the fringes of London, is still only a convenient 25-minute drive from our Colindale branch.

Which is your favourite part of London? London Bridge is the location of my favourite rooftop bar and is a great place for unwinding and taking in the spectacular London skyline. Long summer evenings spent there with good friends will live long in my memory.

Tell me a little about your property career and interest in it? There are a few property professionals within my family, so it’s something that has always been present in my life. My property career in earnest started with a six-month internship with my brother Tom. I fell in love with the property industry during this period and particularly enjoyed the process of finding homeowners their ‘perfect home’.

What are your passions outside work and how do you relax? Socialising with friends over a good meal is a great way to re-energise. I also take a keen interest in football: both domestic and international as well all the glamour and excitement  that goes with the Formula 1 season.
Where do you live? In central London which I really like and there is always lots going on.

What do you like most about working in the Ealing area? Ealing has everything and the recent addition of the Elizabeth line underground has made the area highly accessible. Ealing is a place that is both lively and tranquil, making it ideal for individuals and families too.

Tell me something about your career? Previously, I was based in Hammersmith (not far from Ealing), working as a letting negotiator and was able to help many tenants settle into nice rental homes. It made my transition to property sales a natural one so now I help local homeowners looking to put down roots, and property investors who are very active here, supporting a thriving rental market.
