New-build developments in London

New homes

Kew estate agent Benham & Reeves provides a complete sales, lettings and property management service throughout this part of South West London.  The Zone 3 location is becoming increasingly popular with investors and renters who are discovering its many attractions and surprisingly short commute into central London.

New residential developments such as Kew Bridge are transforming the local skyline, with smart, riverside apartments offering spectacular views of the River Thames.  With their high spec and contemporary finish, these properties are popular amongst professionals working in central London and the City who are discovering that the area is less than a 30 minute commute away from Waterloo Station.  And it is not just convenience that makes this such a popular location - the area boasts plenty of open green spaces and recreational facilities - Richmond Park is not far away while Kew Gardens is also nearby, giving the area a distinctly village like feel.

Investors who have already bought property in the area have found that rental yields are good thanks to the strong demand.  Buyers will find a variety of styles of property, from the sleek modern apartments of the new residential developments to more traditional Victorian and Edwardian terraced houses.   This area is certainly one to watch so offers excellent growth potential for investors.

Kew  and nearby Brentford have a wide choice of properties available and our team of residential sales experts are well placed to guide clients, whether they are buying, selling or renting a property here.

If you would like to find out more about renting, selling or buying property in Kew, Brentford or environs, call our sales or lettings team or view our Kew area guide to find out more about the area.

Meet our Kew team

Where do you live? I've lived in Ealing all my life.

Tell us about your career? I've worked in lettings since I was 19 and am ARLA Propertymark qualified with the NAEA (NFOPP) qualification. I've been with Benham and Reeves since 2006 and was previously Manager of the Knightsbridge office. Before that I was a Negotiator at the Kensington office.

Tell us something interesting about yourself? I once spent a year travelling around SE Asia, Australasia, the USA and Mexico where I met some very interesting people and learnt a lot about different cultures, it was a great life experience.
Where do you currently live? I’m enjoying living in West London at the moment, there is always lots to do and see here.

What do you like most about the Kew area? As an area, Kew is so much more than just the Botanical Gardens it’s most known for. There is a strong community here and lots of different kinds of properties. There are also some lovely restaurants and cafes here and in Brentford too, which has undergone a lot of transformation in the past 5 years.

Tell me a little about your property career? I have worked in residential lettings in West and South West London for the last couple of years. I love working in the property industry and really enjoy helping tenants find their perfect rental home.

What are your passions outside work and how do you relax? I enjoy fine dining and travelling.
Where do you currently live? I’m currently living in West London.

What do you like most about the Kew & Brentford areas? I’ve spent a lot of time in both of these areas growing up, and have always loved The Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew, which is beautifully maintained and especially great if you are a nature lover.

Tell me a little about your property career & experience? I’ve worked in the property industry for just over a year now, which has been very interesting. It’s given me some great opportunities to interact with tenants and landlords and really grow my service skills.

What are your passions outside work and how do you relax? I love art and enjoy painting pieces in my spare time. I also enjoy reading and find it very relaxing.
Where do you currently live? I live in West London.

What do you like most about Kew & Brentford areas? I really like how the old meets the new, where historic buildings sit next to modern ones. It’s a pretty setting, with Kew right by the River; very family friendly with lots of restaurants and independent cafes that provide a welcoming feeling when you set foot inside them.

Tell me a little about your property career & experience? I’m quite new to the property sector and am fortunate to be working with experienced colleagues who are helping me further my knowledge, interest and experience in the field. I really enjoy working with people and the negotiating role.

What are your passions outside work and how do you relax? Keeping fit is important to me and I do like to go to the gym after work. I’m quite sociable so my weekends are usually full of activities and meeting up with friends. I also like to travel when I can.
